How to use this tool
- Paste your content — article, product page, or landing page copy.
- Optionally enter a focus keyword to measure its exact density.
- Click Analyze Content to see top words and phrases.
- Reduce overused terms if density looks unnatural (above 3% is a warning sign).
What keyword density should you aim for?
There is no perfect keyword density percentage. Google has confirmed it does not use keyword density as a direct ranking factor. However, using your focus keyword naturally throughout your content helps Google understand what the page is about.
A good rule of thumb: aim for 1–2% density for your main keyword. Use related terms and synonyms to cover the topic comprehensively rather than repeating one keyword.
