How it works
How to merge PDF files
- Add your PDFs. Choose or drag in two or more files.
- Set the order. Use ↑ and ↓ — the first file in the list becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.
- Click Merge PDFs and download one combined file.
Pages are copied exactly as they are — text stays selectable, links and page sizes are preserved, and nothing is re-compressed.
How merging works
When merging PDFs saves time
- Job and school applications that accept only one file: resume, cover letter and certificates together.
- Invoices and receipts for expense reports or taxes.
- Contracts and signed pages scanned separately.
- Visa and immigration-style document bundles where forms ask for a single upload — check the size limit and use Compress PDF if needed.
If a file won't merge
Password-protected PDFs can't be combined until the password is removed. Open the file in your PDF reader with the password, choose Print → Save as PDF to make an unlocked copy, then merge that copy.
Frequently asked questions
Does merging PDFs reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text, images and page sizes stay unchanged.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There's no fixed limit. Very large files depend on your device's memory, so merging dozens of large scans may be slow on older phones.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Remove the password first (for example, open it and use Print → Save as PDF), then merge the unlocked copy.
Can I change the page order inside a PDF?
This tool orders whole files. To rearrange individual pages, merge first, then use a PDF editor.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device. Your files are never sent to or stored on our servers.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in modern browsers on iPhone and Android. Very large files may be slow on older phones.
